Congratulations to the Harker Heights High School Junior ROTC Knights Archery team, which competed in the first-ever All-Service JROTC National Archery Championship Tournament. The Knights finished 10th overall in Bullseye competition and 13th overall for 3D competition among 64 invited teams. You did us proud Knights Archery!

Under the bright sun Thursday at Joseph L. Searles III Stadium, students from Chaparral and Shoemaker showed what teamwork, determination and school pride are all about during the first Life Skills soccer match.
After a month of practice, players took the field for three exciting 12-minute periods in front of supportive coaches, volunteers, families and fans. Organized by Skills teachers Sylvia Luna from Shoemaker and Darky Marin Viera from Chaparral, the event was filled with energy, encouragement and unforgettable moments.
The Grey Wolves came away with a 2-0 win, but the biggest victory was the joy and confidence shared by every student who stepped onto the turf.
